We are very pleased and honored to invite you to the 13th TSAVA International Continuing Education Congress which will be organized by the Turkish Small Animal Veterinary Association between November 02 - November 4, 2018 at Grand Cevahir Hotel & Convention Center, Istanbul.

The organization committee of TSAVA, which is a member of the World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) and the Federation of European Small Animal Veterinary Surgeons Associations (FECAVA), is preparing a scientific program with famous speakers coming together from all over the world and from Turkey as it is every year.

We believe that the most current information and experience will be shared with the needs of the clinician veterinarians. The presentations will take place in English-Turkish translation as every year. It will also reinforce our social partnership in the "Gala Night" which will take place in a sincere atmosphere.

For the 13th time, at the beginning of November, we will be happy to be with you in the environment of science, love and friendship, where we expect your valuable participation and high interest.

Poster/Oral Presentations

Deadline for Acceptance of Proceedings 15 October 2018
All papers submitted to the congress will be evaluated in the research category.
Submission rules:
⇒ The proceeding sent to 13th khvhd1 International Conference on Continuing Education will be accepted as poster and oral presentation.
⇒ In order for the Papers to be evaluated by the Scientific Committee, only the web page of the paper should be filled in.
⇒ Original studies, case reports, retrospective studies can be sent as papers.
⇒ Papers submitted to the Congress must never be previously submitted or published.
⇒ Oral and poster abstracts will be prepared in Turkish and English.
⇒ Oral or Poster can be selected as presentation format. However, according to the content of the scientific program and the paper, the Scientific Committee may change the way the presentation is presented.
⇒ The Scientific Committee of the Congress will evaluate the features such as content and presentation, and select 6 verbal statements for presentation. The selected oral presentations should be completed within 15 minutes, including a 2-3 minute question-answer session.
⇒ It is mandatory for at least one of the authors to make congress registration in the oral presentations.
⇒ There will not be any changes / corrections in the written language of the papers accepted for the congress. The papers submitted by the authors will be included in the congress booklet. Papers that do not meet the grammatical rules and have typographical errors may be rejected by the committee.
⇒ The abbreviation should not be used and should reflect the work.
⇒ The names (name and surname) and institutions of the authors should be written under the title. The e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers of the responsible author should be added for communication.
⇒ The approval of the Ethics Committee of the study should be obtained and the name of the institution and the approval date should be specified.
⇒ A maximum of 2 tables and 2 graphs are allowed in the papers, both of which must be simple and understandable.
⇒ Presentation abstracts should not exceed 300 words, except the title, and should include the following sections:
→ Introduction: General information about the study should be given and the purpose of the study should be clearly stated.
→ Material and Method: Material selection should be defined and the method (method) should be explained in detail.
→ Findings: Data should be explained clearly and statistical data should be presented. Papers, bearing phrases “The findings will be discussed in the future” or “will be presented later” will not be accepted.
→ Discussion and Conclusion: The result of the study should be clearly stated. It should not include any comparison and interpretation with the literature. The clinical significance of the study results should be emphasized.
⇒ The posters should be 90 x 120 cm and should be readable from the opposite side.
⇒ The official language of the Congress is Turkish.
⇒ Applications will not be accepted after 15 October 2018.

Turkish Small Animal Veterinary Association 13th International Continuing Education Congress will be held between 2-4 November 2018 at Grand Cevahir Hotel Convention Center.

The language of the meeting is Turkish and English.
The registration desk will be open between 2-3 November 2018 from 08:00 to 18:00.
It is necessary for all participants and attendants to wear the badges at the entrance of the meeting center, during the scientific sessions, in the exhibition areas, in the poster areas and in the social programs, to ensure the congress safety.
It will be inside the congress bags.
Registration will be given to the participants who have completed the registration process.

During the meeting, exhibitors will be able to exhibit their products and visuals at the meeting center. The exhibition area will be open to the participants during the meeting.
An invitation letter will be sent to the meeting participants who have completed the registration, if they wish to facilitate their participation in the meetings. This letter is intended to help participants to obtain permission from the institution they are affiliated with and does not provide any financial support to the participant.
All participants who have registered will be given a certificate of participation from the registration desks in the meeting center.

Registration fees include participation in scientific sessions, badges, congress bag, exhibition area visit, congress program, two lunches, 4 coffee breaks, gala dinner and abstract book.
Student registration fee includes participation in scientific sessions, badges, congress bag, exhibition area visit, congress program, two lunches, 4 coffee breaks and abstract book (excluding Gala dinner). The fee for the gala dinner is 75 €.
All prices include VAT.
